About the Tozer
Foundation
The Tozer Foundation was created
under the will of the late David Tozer who was a lumberman
in Stillwater, Minnesota and in the St. Croix Valley.
Mr. Tozer
directed
in
his
will that a charitable corporation be formed and
the net income of said organization be used for
such religious,
charitable,
scientific
or educational
purposes
as may
be determined
by the Board of Directors.
David
Tozer's
will
also
specified
that
a
significant portion of the organization's
income
be
used
to
assist needy and worthy young people in Minnesota
to
obtain
a
college education. He further directed that
preference
be
given
to young people from Kanabec, Pine and
Washington
counties. We have only one scholarship program
under
which we award approximately 450 to 500 scholarships.
